How to use the Monitor app

Install & update

1. On your Android phone, open the download link. If the phone asks, allow your browser to Install unknown apps.
2. Open the downloaded BM-MonitorApp.apk and tap Install.
3. When a newer version is published, the Dashboard shows an Update available banner. Tap Update, download, and install over the existing app.

Sign in

1. Company code — the company's short code (3–20 lowercase letters or digits, e.g. acme). The app remembers it.
2. Email and Password — your monitor account, created by an admin. Only accounts with the monitor role can use this app.
3. Tap Sign in.

First sign-in on a new phone

The first time you sign in on a phone, the app shows an Approve this phone card instead of opening. Your company admin approves each phone once:

• Ask your admin to approve the phone (web panel or Admin app → Devices). The card shows Waiting for your administrator… and checks every 5 seconds; once approved, the app signs you in by itself.
• Or ask your admin to read you the 6-digit code (valid 10 minutes), type it in and tap Verify and sign in.

The card stops checking after 5 minutes — if the phone is approved later, just tap Sign in again. On the demo company, phones are approved automatically.

After the first successful sign-in the app may offer fingerprint / Face ID. The app locks itself after 15 minutes without use.

Dashboard

Bottom tabs: Dashboard · Sales · Inventory · Expenses · Reports. The dashboard is a Business overview of cards — tap any of them to go to the matching list or report:

• Sales (this month) with the number of orders.
• Profit with the revenue behind it.
• Expenses (YTD).
• Orders and Pending manual orders (customer requests not yet converted).

Pull down to refresh.

Sales

All orders of the company. Search by customer or order number and use the filter icon for status, payment status, date range and salesperson. Open an order to read its items, totals, payments, due amount, status and invoice. Nothing can be changed from here.

Inventory

Pick a salesperson from the drop-down to see what is on their van, product by product, with Low stock flags.

Expenses

Every recorded expense with amount, date, status and category. Tap one for the details and the receipt photo, if attached.

Reports

• Location map — shops and watch-list (prospect) pins on a map.
• Sales report — orders and revenue by period.
• Sales performance — per-salesperson sales, cartons and dues, with a trend and a by-item breakdown.
• Profit report — revenue, cost and profit.
• Expense report — totals by category.
• Expense summary — year-to-date by period.

Each report has a period selector at the top (this month, weeks, a single day, last month, last 3 months, all).

Profile & settings

Your name, email and role, the fingerprint unlock switch and Sign out. The app follows the phone's language (English, Arabic or Bangla) and light/dark setting.
